American singer-songwriter and musician Cate Tomlinson has quickly become a firm favourite of mine, and for good reason!

Cate’s latest release, Blueberry Season, is a truly beautiful piece of music, and one that fans of a wide variety of different genres should love. It’s a pop-rock song at heart, but there are also elements of folk and indie thrown in there for good measure, making for something remarkable. It’s a perfectly crafted piece of work, showing how amazing Cate’s songwriting talents are – the main chord sequence used is really stunning, sounding haunting throughout. Cate’s vocals are also on point as always, containing a great deal of emotion here.
