Canadian band Valley return with another amazing new indie-pop tune, in the form of We Don’t Need Malibu.

I’m not normally a fan of most modern pop music, but I can make an exception when it’s this good! We Don’t Need Malibu is a catchy tune, and whilst it does have its mainstream pop moments, it’s a little different to the norm. It’s fairly stripped-down in parts, with the main instrumentation consisting of a unique beat and some pretty guitar lines that follow the rhythm section well. The sparse nature of the track allows the soulful vocals to really shine through, enveloping the listener as the music progresses.
