Ocie Elliott is a Victoria, Canada-based indie folk duo who have just come to my attention thanks to their latest single, taken from their upcoming EP Know The Night. It’s called Free.

Free is a beautifully delicate yet rich acoustic folk track. The back and forth vocals of Sierra Lundy and Jon Middleton provide a wonderful sense of texture and emotion, and sets the pair apart from their contemporaries. Based on the evidence of Free, Know The Night is going to be a record not to be missed.

Ocie Elliott came to be in 2017. Since then, they’ve not looked back, sharing stages with big names, and appearing on the soundtrack of TV’s Grey’s Anatomy, Batwoman and Legacies. Their new EP is set for release in November this year, and you can check out Free below.
