We haven’t shared music from German artist PENNY X for quite a long time, so new release back to your dad’s is very welcome!

By Jane Howkins

back to your dad’s is a modern pop song with a bit of an edge, creating something suitably unique in the mainstream pop genre. It’s also got elements of rock and electronica, making this more of an alt-pop tune. The vocals are fantastic, going from a slow and sultry quality on the verses to a higher, more impassioned note on the chorus, truly soaring. The riffs kick in on the chorus, adding a cool vibe alongside the creeping bassline. It’s an incredibly catchy song – find it here:
