Sheffield/London-based independent imprint – BLANG RECORDS – will take a showcase of its finest acts and friends of the label out on the road this autumn.

Kicking off on 5 October, the tour will see stops in at Square Chapel in Halifax on October 5th and The New Adelphi in Hull on October 6th before culminating in the label’s joint base of Sheffield for a show at independent vinyl shop and 150 capacity venue Record Junkee on October 7th.

Headlined by the Blang-signed David Cronenberg’s Wife, a key band on the early 2010s anti-folk DIY scene in the UK, they will be joined by label-mate and solo synth-punk troubadour Joe Buzfuz at all three dates. Elsewhere, friends of the label including the electronic rock duo Ayusp will be making an appearance at the closing night in Sheffield, whereas progressive skiffle masters Black Kes will be joining the party in Hull.
