so cool so mean mixes a few genres together, including elements of pop, rock and indie, creating a really cool sound. The beat is fast and frantic, as a prominent bassline pulsates along in the background, adding an awesome atmosphere to the piece. Cate’s vocals are as amazing as ever, going from a sultry tone on the verses to a voice that really soars on the chorus. It’s extremely catchy, but so cool so mean isn’t too mainstream pop, instead sounding very genuine. This is another must listen song from Cate Tomlinson.
