How has the reception to Wonderful been so far, and where can the record be purchased?
Wonderful! And you can purchase the record in my shop (soon): www.fishandscale…m/shop
Do you plan to release any singles from the EP in the near future?
Yes, I released Stay! as a single.
Are there any plans to release a full length album anytime soon?
I like the EP format, as I have the feeling that I can do more releases in less time.
Why did you decide to produce music under the name Fish And Scale, instead of as a solo artist? Where does the moniker come from?
Roland Wälzlein sounds a little bit bulky to me and Fish And Scale is a hidden hint to my zodiac signs (Pisces and my ascendant is Libra).
The EP starts out folky, but goes through a number of genres. What/who would you say you are most influenced by as an artist? What have you been listening to recently?
A great influence on me is still Bob Dylan, and I listen to all kinds of folk music.
What is the writing and recording process like for you?
For me, music is a doorway to a mystical world in me, it can lead me to a place full of miracles. I try to go there more and more, and music helps me on this journey – sometimes I bring a song from there.
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
I would love to tour in the UK. But I don’t have a booking agency there. Maybe you can help me out.
Any last words for the fans?
Thank you very much!
