Bryanna Rain is an incredibly talented artist, creating electronic music that is a little different to the modern norms. Her EP, LavenderWax EP, really caught my attention – it’s perfect for those who like their electronica on the experimental side of things, so make sure you check it out if that sounds like you!

You’ve recently released an EP titled LavenderWax EP. What can you tell us about the track?
We’d started the follow up to the previous record, and had a few more 12″ ideas from a pair of Indian remixers (Vedant+Simar). It is also my first release on vinyl.
How has the reception to the EP been so far, and where can it be purchased?
A few people have reviewed it, and you can find it as a pre-release at Bandcamp.
Do you plan to release any singles in the near future?
We have already released singles earlier this summer and last.
Have you started writing for a full length-album?
Yes.
Your music is quite experimental. What/who are you most influenced by? What have you been listening to recently?
More ideas have come from just mucking about with different beats and settings, so by the time I hear something else, it’s just a musical blur for me, coming from no one artist in particular.
What is the writing and recording process like for you?
Messy but fun.
You’re based in Virginia. What is the local music scene like with you?
People know me more from my markets honestly, lol.
Do you have anything else exciting coming up this year?
My album Petrichor will be on iTunes later this year.
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
I actually will be there too – Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Any last words for the fans?
Thanks for the support.
