You’ve recently released your new single Late Train. What can you tell us about the track?
It’s about coming through a dark time and finding that strength and hope that things are getting better!
How has the reception to the song been so far, and where can it be purchased?
It’s been lovely so far! People seem to be really connecting with it! It’s available wherever you get your music! Apple, Spotify, Amazon etc! It’s everywhere!
Do you plan to release any more singles in the near future?
Yes! I actually have my next song coming out next month!
Are there any plans to release and album or EP anytime soon?
I have two more singles coming out this year and hopefully will be releasing an album next year!
Your music has a poppy sound, sound. What/who are you most influenced by? What have you been listening to recently?
I’m really influenced by the incredible singer songwriters that I grew up listening to like Alanis Morrissette and Sheryl Crow. Their writing is so incredible and I love how they were truly themselves and put that honesty into their music! Recently I’ve been listening to Irish artist Dermot Kennedy. I love his writing and his voice!
What is the writing and recording process like for you?
It varies song to song! Some of the songs I’ve been releasing recently like my new song Late Train, I actually wrote years ago, with just myself on the piano, but then it wasn’t until this year and working with incredible producer Todd Spadafore, here in L.A that I felt it was the right time to record and release it!
Do you have anything else exciting coming up this year?
Two new songs!!!
You’re based in LA. What is the local music scene like at the moment?
It’s very inspiring here! The level of talent is crazy and everyone is working so hard on their craft and their dreams! It’s very motivating to be around!
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
I definitely will early next year! Will keep you posted!
Any last words for the fans?
Thanks so much to anyone and everyone listening to my music! I love writing and making music so much and I feel so lucky that I get to do that and I hope it resonates with whoever listens!
