It’s been over a year since we last shared music from singer-songwriter Samica, so her new track is very welcome!

The American musician has created something glorious in Antidote – it’s a stripped-down folk song, having quite a minimalist vibe at times. However, it really doesn’t need to be any more complicated, as it’s beautiful enough as it is. The main instrumentation comes from a strummed acoustic guitar, but I could also hear a banjo and slide guitar in the background at times, adding more tone to the tune. And of course, Samica’s vocals are stunning as ever, reaching some awesome heights here. Don’t miss out on Antidote!
