Los Angeles, USA based alternative pop artist Kapture has been lighting up these pages since we discovered her in May this year. It was through her reflective single New Beginnings that she first hit our radar and, since sharing that track, we’ve also shared the uplifting Without You and her team up with Trans-pop icon Jamie Love, Compared To Me. Her latest is also a collaboration, this time with rapper Groovyie. It’s called Residuals.

Kapture’s latest is a sensual track. Groovyie’s rapped first verse set the sultry tone, set against a backdrop of lively percussion, and soulful RnB. Kapture’s vocals then come in, also rapping, and with an unflappable sense of confidence. The track’s visceral lyrics aren’t for the faint of heart, but if you’re looking for something rousing today, look no further.
