It’s very rare that we receive new music from Poland, so I was very excited to discover Polish musician Remek Kossacz.

Remek’s music is quite hard to characterise by genre – Salt Sea is perhaps best described as an instrumental hip-hop piece, although there’s much more going on here than in your typical lo-fi song. It’s also rather funky, including some awesome guitar noodling that really adds character to the track. The drums are also fairly unique, seeing Remek utilise some intriguing rhythms that really keep your attention poised. The track changes as it progresses, going through several movements to ensure something really original.
