Bird is a musical project created by British artist Janie Price, creating lovely cinematic pieces of music.

The Tides is the first track to be released from Bird’s upcoming soundtrack album for the short film Wider Than The Sky. It really is an evocative piece of work, getting into your head straight away. It’s a dreamy pop song of sorts, although I also felt the track had elements of the soul genre, making for something very unique. Bird’s vocals are also amazing here, drifting through the music in a lovely way, as the strings soar in the background. Want to try something a bit different? The Tides is for you!
