If you’ve been following our blog over the past year, you will know the name The Margaret Hooligans. They burst onto our radar at the beginning of the year and since then I’ve been sharing all their music that I possibly can. Since releasing their third album Saturday night in Bartertown in the summer, they’ve wasted no time getting to work on the next one. They’ve just released the lead single from it, and it’s called Our Museum of Failure.
By Graeme Smith
Our Museum of Failure is stadium rock with an important message. One for lost little boys trying to understand what it means to be a man now that Patriarchal structures are being dismantled, it feels like a timely track. There’s something a little old school about its instrumental arrangement, though. Raw punk meets classic rock and roll in a composition that gives plenty of energy.
The Margaret Hooligans fourth album ThunderHole Rock n’ Roll is on its way. You can give Our Museum of Failure a listen below.
