German indie band LOKI have quickly risen in stature since their formation, showing great promise for the future.

Dreams certainly shows why this band is so beloved, as it’s a cracking indie-rock tune with a hint of pop also thrown in for good measure. It’s characterised by a jangly guitar motif that carries through most of the tune, with some 80s synths added at times. The synths aren’t overused though, creating a nice texture when they do appear. The vocals are also rather soulful, containing a lot of passion and emotion that really works on the anthemic chorus. Take a listen to Dreams below if that sounds good!
