Meant for You starts out with some lovely acoustic guitar melodies, fingerpicked to perfection. Saul’s vocals soon kick in – they’re extremely soulful, crooning through the track in a heartfelt way, making you feel everything he’s singing about here. The chorus really elevates things, turning Meant for You into an anthemic rock song, reminiscent of the folk rock that artists such as Bruce Springsteen have become so good at.
