Before I Drown is a really beautiful song, also including elements of folk, as well as Americana. It’s characterised by a fingerpicked guitar melody that wouldn’t be out of place in a western film, with a subtle rhythm section also added in for good measure. The vocals are absolutely lush here, and you can really feel the emotion in them as they carry through the track. The vocals harmonise wonderfully together on the chorus, creating something hauntingly beautiful at times. Definitely ones to watch!
