Ocean Rivers are a five-piece band from just down the road from here in Leeds. They’ve just come to my attention thanks to their second single release which is perfect for your Halloween playlist. It’s called I dream of devils.

What strikes you most about I dream of devils from the start is its distinctive vocal delivery, backed by an emotional and compelling rock arrangement. The lyrics, too, are arresting – rich with authentic feelings and a certain rawness. Ocean Rivers are making rock but not as we know it. It’s exciting to hear something so fresh, doubly so from a local act.

Ocean Rivers are Dan on vocals, acoustic guitar and bass, Jack on rhythm and lead guitar, Ollie on drums and percussion, Matthew on keys and Keiran on violin. I dream of devils was recorded at Moorcroft Studios in Cleckheaton and produced by Ocean Rivers and Tom Fox. You can give it a listen below.
