London-based singer songwriter Domiziana has featured once before on this blog. Back in June this year, I featured their track Psychod!ck, which delighted me with its bright and breezy ’80s soul pop style. Their latest is a reflection on the difference between love and desire. It’s called So Bored.

Domiziana’s latest is instantly striking with its heavy and fuzzy bass opening. It quickly changes up into something light and soaring, with a looping piano melody and jazzy composition. They are really out there doing something unlike anything I’ve heard before, combining pop and Avant Garde sensibilities with ease, all while delivering lyrics with a relatable substance. They’re really one to keep an eye on.

So Bored was written by Domiziana Mongelluzzi and produced by Alessandro Spagnolo. It was mixed by Louis Tong. The song features on Domiziana’s new EP BUBBLE POP which is out now in all the usual places. You can check out the single below.
