An Evening with Anton Du Beke is set to deliver a star-studded extravaganza, featuring not only the nation’s favourite Ballroom dancer, Anton Du Beke, but also renowned vocalist Lance Ellington and a live 8-piece band and dancers.
The tour, which kicked off on the 21 April 2023 and is coming to York Theatre Royal on the 7 November, is a dazzling showcase of dance, music, and entertainment, bringing the magic of Ballroom to stages across the country like never before.
Anton performs some of his favourite songs as well as enthralling audiences with his glittering Ballroom dancing that he has become synonymous with. He also shares some hilarious behind-the-scenes stories from across his career that will have you laughing out loud, including some memorable moments from the last twenty series of Strictly Come Dancing which saw him become a household name.
In addition to the stellar lineup of Anton Du Beke and Lance Ellington, the show will also feature a live 8-piece band whose credits range from working on West End shows, to performing with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, to recording and performing with international artists such as Dame Shirley Bassey, Andrea Bocelli, Queen and more! And, not forgetting Anton’s four talented female dancers, including a Ballroom champion and West End performers.
The band, with their incredible musical prowess, will provide the perfect accompaniment to Anton and Lance’s performances, bringing the music to life with their soulful rhythms and catchy melodies.
