It’s not the first one that counts is a bit of a genre bender – as well as the prominent indie vibes, there are also elements of rock, electronica and post-punk. The guitar licks are really awesome here, matching the bass and drums perfectly. Some synthy flourishes can be heard in the background, adding an extra sense of eccentricity to the song. The vocals are pretty intriguing too – they’re a little different to the norm, having a unique tone that just needs to be heard to be believed! Check out this spiky indie belter below!
