Enfant Perdu (in English “Lost Child”) are a Paris, France-based group that have just come to my attention thanks to their latest single and video, which takes its inspiration from the world of mythology. It’s called L’Armour des Dieux.
By Graeme Smith
There’s something suitably celestial about Enfant Perdu’s new track. It draws inspiration from far and wide, including the work of Studio Ghibli and Japanese culture, to create a dreamy, ethereal world. The vocals are delicate and compelling, sung in French but expressing universal emotion. If you’re looking for something different but engaging to watch today, then you can’t go wrong with its psychedelic, nature-filled video.
L’Armour des Dieux was mixed by Izza Nguyen and mastered by Near Deaf Experience/Sébastien Lorho. You can watch its video, created by Izza, below.
