I’m a big fan of the acoustic folk genre, so I was very pleased to discover American musician Joe McMurray.

Open Road is our first introduction to Joe’s work, but he’s so talented, that I’m sure we’ll be sharing more of his stuff soon! It’s an instrumental number, seeing Joe utilise his acoustic guitar to the highest measure. The track is folky at times, but it also leans into a few other genres, making for something that appeals across the board. The main guitar melody progresses in a lovely way as the piece progresses, showing just how skilled Joe is! This is a delightful piece of music which you must check out!
