If you’ve been following the blog over the past few months, you’ll almost certainly have seen the name Grace & Moji on these pages. The married Los Angeles, USA-based duo have been featuring a lot, and we’ve even shared their track Sad Times already. Now that it comes complete with a video, it felt time to revisit it.

When I last reviewed Sad Times I called it “the perfect mix of light and dark,” and the accompanying video wonderfully matches this dichotomy. A bright, nature-filled scene is peopled by a ghoulish skull-masked figure who takes protagonist Moji on a revealing road-trip in a pink convertible. We meet Grace in a psychedelic blue room during her rapped verse. It’s all so beautifully surreal and will bring a smile to your face.
