Bryce Drew is a Trinidadian-American pop and soul singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Miami, USA who has just come to my attention thanks to her new track all about taking the power back. It’s called That Dress.

Bryce’s latest brings to life a true story from her life when her then partner failed to notice the beautiful dress she wore when accompanying him to a Corrine Bailey Rae concert. By relating the story, she moves past the anger, instead coming to the conclusion that the dress was really for her after all. It’s an emotional story beautifully told through Bryce’s captivating vocals, delivered against an intimate acoustic backdrop.
