sixten is a Swedish duo, formally known as Strandels, making glorious indie-folk tunes like Ocean In Me.

The sibling duo have created something really awesome in Ocean In Me, also having elements of country and Americana. It’s quite a stripped-down track at times, starting out with a pretty fingerpicked acoustic guitar, with some occasional slide guitar thrown in for good measure. However, the song soon picks up the pace, as a full rhythm section is added, alongside a sparse electric guitar. The vocals are beautiful, harmonising at time to create something extremely soulful.
