Fellow Hollow are an Ohio, USA-based folk band who have just come to my attention thanks to their recent single. Featuring on their latest album Boughs of Teeth, it’s called Solarium.
By Graeme Smith
Boughs of Teeth is a collection that explores the place where the natural and real leave off, meaning Solarium has a slightly otherworldly feel about it. It’s folk but not as we know it, with gentle acoustic instrumentals and soft vocals painting a vivid picture. Fellow Hollow truly have a way with words. Solarium is a track that will transport you.
Both the track and album were mixed and mastered by Glenn Davis with some additional engineering with Joey Gurwin at Oranjudo Studios. Boughs of Teeth is out now in all the usual places and you can check out Solarium below.
