Eruption Artistique are a collective of artists based in Rotterdam, Netherlands who have just come to my attention thanks to their latest track and video. A team up with The Smackbar, it’s called Ball&Chain.

Making boundary-pushing art that challenges convention, Eruption Artistique are a group that want you to think differently. With their latest track, they give us rock and roll influenced by ’60s psychedelia and ’90s indie such as The Dandy Warhols. Their style feels wonderfully fresh, with some poetic lyrics that will stick with you.

Eruption Artistique are Sara and Mike on vocals, Bas on vocals, guitar and organ, and Vinnie on guitar. Production comes from Emil and filming for the video is by Jean Paul Gummo. Ball&Chain was recorded at Charlatan Studio in Rotterdam. You can check out the video for it below.
