Seattle-based singer-songwriter Rusty Reid delivers another slice of Americana heaven on The United States of Selfishness.

The United States of Selfishness has a classic Americana vibe, but it also contains elements of folk and country, making for a great mix of sounds. It’s a pretty slow track, featuring some gorgeous electric guitar motifs that tail off from the main rhythm section on occasion, alongside some lovely slide guitar motifs. There isn’t that much variety in this piece, but the lyrics are well worth a listen, containing a political message about the current state of the USA. Find the track here:
