Regular readers of this blog will certainly know the name of Cologne, Germany-based singer songwriter Luna Keller by now. And if you’ve been following these pages recently you’ll know that she is in the middle of releasing a series of videos, one a month, in the lead up to the release of her upcoming concept album Ocean Inside of Me. Her latest is called Patterns.

Part three of her story, Patterns is about being trapped in destructive cycles without knowing how to escape them. The tale plays out with a looping, circus-like arrangement, expressive vocals and an image-laden video that explores themes of consciousness and mythology. As always, it’s Luna’s lyrics that shine the brightest. Rich and relatable, they simply captivates.

Ocean Inside of Me is set for release in the summer. Patterns was created with producer Dominic Romano and its video was shot in the wilds of Latvia. You can check it out below.
