Liverpool-based band SCREENTALK have a sound that could be roughly described as pop-rock, but it doesn’t fully capture their genre-defying approach. Whatever label you want to put on it, it’s captivating as anything and we’ve been delighting in it since early 2022.

Their latest Frown ramps up the emotion with an arrangement that brings together big riffs, punchy percussion and a groovy rhythm. A track that will have you moving as much as feeling, it’ll play just as well on your headphones alone as on the dancefloor. The standout is certainly Sean Currie’s vocals that find passionate highs and melancholic lows.
SCREENTALK are Sean Currie, Sam Varney, Connor Day, Daniel Moore and Joseph Berber. Frown was produced by Russell Cottier. You can give it a listen below.
