London-based alternative rock band The New Nostalgia first hit our radar in 2022 thanks to their debut album BLEED & BLOOM. Since then, we’ve not had the chance to share any more of their music, but that’s all about to change.

A Fridge In Berlin is the band’s first single release since the album. A blunderbuss of a rock track, it covers the often overlooked topic of the downsides of leaving your small town for the big city. Machine-gun riffs get us right into it before shouted vocals deliver a tongue-in-cheek story of urban living.
The New Nostalgia are Patrick McCallion on vocals and guitar, James Sands on guitar, Sam Bramhall on bass and Charles Adey on drums. The guys have got a couple of live shows lined up in Salford on 22 March, and London the next day, with more to be announced. Fingers crossed the make it over our way!
A Fridge In Berlin was recorded by Tom Roach at Coastal Sound Recording Studio in Liverpool and you can check it out below.
