I simply adore the music of Danish duo LINEBUG, and have been sharing it since 2020. Last year saw us run the rule over their album Fast Changing Landscape and now the pair are preparing for the release of their next project.

Their latest single Rainbows in Hoywoy will feature on Portraits of Invisible Places, an album that celebrates ten East German towns. Line Bøgh and Christian Gundtoft relocated from their native Denmark and found a home in that part of the world, getting lost in its unique architecture and hidden treasures.

Musically, we see LINEBUG push the envelope of their sound without losing any of the stripped-back dreaminess that we love about them. Rainbows in Hoywoy feels like a lullaby, with a soft and mesmerising melody driving things along while Line’s unique vocal paint a vivid picture. Coupled with its animated video, created by Christian’s hand, it’s a work that will transport you. You can check it out below.
