Stoke-on-Trent-based pop-rock band Camens has featured a few times before on this blog, going back to 2022. They’ve just released their second single of the year, following on from the brilliant Cynical.

Much has been said about love and war, but it’s never been put quite like it has in Confetti & Kalashnikovs. It explores the ups and downs of a relationship through a combination of a lively instrumental arrangement and poignant lyrical storytelling. It’s what we’ve come to love about Camens, but it pushes their sound too. It might just be the anthem that sees them breakthrough to the mainstream.

Both Cynical and Confetti & Kalashnikovs will feature on Camen’s upcoming album WORK/LIFE/BALANCE, set for release 3 May. The boys will be taking the album on tour across the UK in May, including a stop off in Leeds on the 6th. Tickets are available now.
