As well as the clear folky elements, Gone Before Noon also includes moments of the Americana, blues, country and bluegrass genres, appealing vastly across the genre lines. It’s fairly upbeat, using a classic blues chord sequence, drawing you into this catchy tune on the very first listen. Earl’s vocals are absolutely perfect for the style of music created here, having a whiskey soaked rawness that sounds epic throughout. The banjos and violins that follow the guitars are pretty nice too – why not give Gone Before Noon a go below?!
