80s music has been having something of a revival of late, with Sunrise Fire adding a little taste into their own brand of indie-pop.

Fake News is quite an interesting tune – as well as the retro pop, modern pop and indie elements, it’s also quite folky at times. It’s got that anthemic folk sound that became popular about 15 minutes ago, although with a more genuine touch, thanks to the lyrical content and vocal style. It’s undeniably catchy though – particularly when that killer chorus kicks in, inviting you to sing along with the music. The Irish act are no doubt headed for big things, if Fake News is anything to go by!
