As you’ve probably guessed from the title, Ukrainian Blood was written about the current war started by Russia in Ukraine. The lyrics are amazing and really deserve to be listened to, but the music is on another level entirely. It’s a folk song that makes full use of a double bass, trombone and trumpet, with a unique percussion beat that ties everything well together. The vocal harmonies are gorgeous too, only adding to the dark feel of the song.
