Dance With Someone New is one such track. It’s folky yet it’s also rather catchy, having a bubbly, playful sound to it. There isn’t too much variety in terms of the instrumentation, but the main melody is incredibly hooky, sure to get stuck in your head on the first listen! A selection of acoustic and electric guitar melodies accompany the fast beat and bass, as Shannon’s delectable vocals drift through the music with ease, breaking down on the final chorus to really allow the backing vocals to shine through.
