Southend-on-Sea-based alternative rock band The Trusted have been featuring on these pages since last year when they burst onto my radar through their track Doomsday. Now they’re back with a new one.

If you’ve ever sabotaged yourself then The Trusted’s new track Self Destruct is for you. It’s anthemic punk rock with a chorus that will give you the catharsis that you need. Getting right into it, we get a killer guitar riff and a breakneck tempo. Charismatic vocals cut through it all, speaking directly to you with intensity. Overall, it’s a call to action. It urges you to get out your own way and rise up.

With their latest single, The Trusted both solidify the reasons why we love them while also pushing their sound to new heights. I feel 2024 is going to be a big year for them.
