London-based bedroom pop artist Molteno has been featuring on these pages since 2018, always delighting us with her unique, dreamy sound.

We’re not the only ones enamoured with her music. She’s attracted the attention of BBC Radio 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, Spotify, Clash and Amazing Radio, among others. It’s easy to see why when she keeps putting out records like she does, her latest Clouds is no exception.

Opening ethereal with isolated vocals, the track quickly hits a percussive groove that will have you moving along. As ever, Molteno’s vocals are the star of the show as they deliver poetic and image-laden lyrics in the verse before things build to a soaring, all-encompassing chorus.
