New York, USA-based psychedelic electronica act Deep Dive Species has appeared a couple of times before on this blog, most recently earlier this month through their track and video Adventus.

Less than a month has passed but already I have more music to share from the productive band. YOLO was released at the start of the month to celebrate the two year anniversary of their debut album release Aquaphilia. It parodies adverts that promise us happiness if we buy their products, delivering the striking message disguised as laidback psych rock.

Formed during coronavirus lockdown in 2020, Deep Dive Species are the duo of Vadim Militsin and Sergey Popovich. The pair composed and produced YOLO with mastering coming from Bill Sellar & Super Audio Mastering. You can check out its video, created by Zen!a, below.
