Tiphane Doucet is a French indie folk artist who has just caught my attention through her latest single release, My Own Way.

Though new to us, Tiphane has been performing since she was a child, acting on French television. Her life has taken her into the realms of dance and singing too, as well as becoming a multi-instrumentalist who plays harp, piano and guitar. In 2020, she appeared on the Canadian version of The Voice (La Voix), receiving accolades.
Her new track explores her experience navigating the music industry, revealing her self-doubt through an introspective number that showcases her delicate and vulnerable vocals. As the track proceeds, its instrumental arrangement grows with some groovy pop sensibilities, and we eventually arrive at an affirming conclusion.
My Own Way will feature on Tiphane’s upcoming album Letters, set for release in June. You can give the single a listen below.
