Tessa And Friends is a London-based punk rock act fronted by Tessa Forrest. She’s just come to my attention through her latest single, no one’s getting out unbroken (giving up my ghost).

With her new single, Tessa shows us just what a fresh take she has on the punk rock genre. Things start raw and lively, with the instrumental nicely supporting her expressive and characterful vocals, before we arrive at a soaring, anthemic chorus. Just as we catch our breath, the tempo ramps up again, and there’s no appropriate response but the dance through the emotion of it all.

I’m very excited by what Tessa And Friends is putting out. There’s an EP on the way and I can’t wait to hear it!
