Rags And Riches are an alternative pop duo based in Lexington, Kentucky, USA comprising of brothers Tanner and Peyton Whitt. They’ve just come to my attention to their latest single release, Wisdom.

The brothers released their first single back in 2019 and it immediately got them noticed with hundreds of thousands of streams and video views. So, I feel a little late to the party having only discovered their music for myself now. Still, better late than never and Wisdom proves a great introduction.

A bright pop number, we instantly get its vibe from its lively, percussive reggaeton-esque opening. The boys’ vocals work together well as they deliver an uplifting message of seizing the day and chasing your dreams. Wisdom feels like a track that fits nicely into the zeitgeist and will find fans among those who love OneRepublic, Ed Sheeran and The Chainsmokers.

This year will see Rags and Riches play Lovin’ Life Music Fest in Charlotte, North Carolina as well as sharing stages with Post Malone, Stevie Nicks and Noah Kahan to name a few. That’s just for a start with more festivals and performances for the US Military planned too.
