Music from New York, USA psychedelic electronica act Deep Dive Species is a bit like buses. You wait a while for some and then it all comes at once!

Penultimate is the second release of theirs I’m sharing today, following my post about their video, Unconditional. Together, the two show very different sides of the Deep Dive Species sound. While Unconditional is light and features acoustic elements, Penultimate is decidedly darker. Rich yet lo-fi electronic elements layer on top of each other, creating an emotional and ponderous soundscape. It will have you roused.
The track will feature on Deep Dive Species’ upcoming album alongside Unconditional. It was composed and produced by Vadim Militsin and Sergey Popovich, mastered by Bill Sellar at Super Audio Mastering and is released by OMNINORM. You can give it a listen below.
