Birds Are Better, the musical project of Oslo, Norway-based Stian Fjelldal, has been all over our pages over the last couple of years. Now he’s back with another new single.

With his new single Everland, Stian invites us back to our childhoods in a fantastical tale of dreams, memories and psychedelia. A suitably light and expressive arrangement kicks things off as Stian’s soft vocals deliver some beautifully poetic lyrics. He really pushes the boundaries of his style in this wonderous track and it makes me excited about what he’s going to give us next.
Everland was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Stian in his home studio. It’s out now, available to buy as a digital download through Bandcamp. You can check it out below.
