Devon Nickoles is a Maryland, USA-based artist who has just released her latest track and video, Gold Star.

Growing up in a family of horse show enthusiasts, Devon inherited her name from the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair. She quickly found a love for music, inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine.

Gold Star sees Devon take the reins of her music for the first time, with the track and video being driven by her personal expression rather than external expectations. The result is a dreamy and captivating track that’s got her onto my musical radar. It tells a story of self-discovery and resilience, ably supported by a music video that draws on cinematic and literary influences to tell a story of journeys through wonderland to find what really matters.
