Oslo, Norway-based singer songwriter ST. NIKLAS has been appearing on our blog since last summer and makes his return through his new single jumpstart.

Born in Trondheim, Niklas Nesset, the man behind ST. NIKLAS, forged his music career out of a love of John Hughes movies, ’80s pop culture and old school instruments. The result is something that feels truly timeless and you can certainly count me among his fans.

His new single jumpstart is a track that tells the story of looking back at happier times in a relationship to try and recapture them. ST. NIKLAS brings the emotion of it to life through a light electro pop arrangement which will have you moving and feeling in equal measure. The vocals are soft and compelling and deliver lyrics that are alive with narrative.
