Now based in London, Will Pope is a Yorkshire lad. His new track and video Rooftops sees him appear on our blog for the first time.

Will has recently signed to Revolver Records and has been releasing music since 2021. He’s spent time performing live in Beijing, China and has been building up a following on Spotify. You can now count us as fans here at York Calling.

Rooftops is a gentle acoustic track with some intricate guitarwork and enticingly soulful vocals. Will tells a rich story with the imagery in his lyrics, and an undercurrent of strings makes things folksy and emotional. It truly is a special track and I’m so glad to have discovered Will’s music through it.
