Hailing from Edinburgh, Emma Miller has been getting the attention of the music media over the last few years, ourselves included. We’ve been featuring her music since 2020.

Her new track Sick & Tired is, in her own words, a “f*ck you” to her inner demons and the social pressures she subjects herself to. It’s a bittersweet track that opens low and pensive, giving plenty of space to Emma’s expressive vocals, before growing to a defiant, passionate chorus and introducing some soothing electronic layers to contrast its hard-hitting lyrics.

Emma has been described as a “one to watch” by BBC’s Scotland’s Roddy Hart and is making quite an impression north of the border. She’ll be playing live in support of Emily Duff in Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms on 15 June, and hosting Scotland’s first music and blockchain showcase on the Gordon Castle Estate on 10 August.
